Blago Gets Some Flamboyant Representation

Now that he's been thumped out of office, Rod Blagojevich is reportedly embracing the circus-like atmosphere of his public disgrace and bringing it into the courtroom.

The father-son duo of defense attorneys Sam Adams and Samuel Adams have signed on to represent Blago in his trial on federal corruption charges. Federal prosecutors are expected to obtain an indictment by April.

The legal duo grabbed the limelight at R&B superstar R. Kelly's sex tape trial. The Adams are known as two of the most flamboyant lawyers in town and it will be interesting to see if their taste for drama will translate into a courtroom victory for Blagojevich.

Blagojevich was arrested by FBI agents in December and was booted from office Thursday when a state Senate impreachment trial ended with a 59-0 vote against him.
