Apple is once again the most respected company in the world, according to Barron’s list of the 100 most-respected publicly traded companies.
Caterpillar, which wasn’t even on last year’s top 100 list, is No. 5 this year.
Google and Berkshire Hathaway dropped from the top 10, falling from
sixth to 16th and third to 15th, respectively. Walmart also took a
mighty plummet in 2012, dropping from 18th to 51st.

3. McDonald’s
4. Amazon.com
5. Caterpillar
6. 3M
7. United Parcel Service
8. Coca-Cola
9. Nestlé (Switzerland)
10. Intel
