Today the Houston Chronicle reported on the Osteen's and their legal battle with a Continental flight attendant. You might remember the incident which occurred on December 19, 2005. According to the flight attendant, Sharon Brown, Victoria Osteen became irate over some liquid that had been spilled on her first-class seat. According to Ms. Brown, Victoria Osteen became so irate that she threw Ms. Brown against the lavatory door and elbowed her in her breast.
Brown claims she was traumatized over the incident which caused her to suffer anxiety, hemorrhoids and loss of faith. Brown wants an apology and wants to punish Victoria Osteen with punitive damages amounting to 10 percent of her net worth.
All I have to say about that is, those must be some pretty darn big hemorrhoids.
The Osteens deny the allegations and their lawyer, Rusty Hardin, said the lawsuit is "silly." While that may be the case, the Osteen's are in some hot water and need to really fine tune their communications with regards to this lawsuit. What do you think?
